Chauncey Pauley

Named after her poppy Big Chuck, Chauncey was born a little Florida duck. She grew up loving ballet and punk rock; eventually she fell in love with dancing in socks. She spends her time working hard at both the barre and a bar where she dreams of becoming a dancing (and drink-making) star.

Chaun loves little weirdos like Sméagol, Doby, E.T and Eeyore. An enthusiast of Windex, Diet Mountain Dew, Springsteen and moshing— just to name a few more.

Crooked fingers, double-jointed elbows, and hyper-extended legs are just some of her physical features; all of which make her a perfectly disagreeable creature.

Chauncey graduated from Elon University Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Performance & Choreography.

Since living in the city she has worked &  performed with Salvatore LaRussa Dance Theatre, Ariel Rivka Dance & in the Lincoln Center Summer Festival’s production of Paradise Interrupted. She is currently dancing for, The Next Stage Project (Jana Hicks & Marijke Eliasberg), Danse En L'air (Yuka Kawazu) as well as with Disagreeable Creatures (Danita Shaheen).
